This book compiles 50 cover illustrations, mainly from the magazine "Bungei Shunju," created over approximately five years after the war.
Color pages were still difficult to produce during this era, so the book is structured with a cut-out piece pasted on the right side of the page (see photo 5) and an explanatory text on the left.
The colophon indicates Showa 29 (1954) and the publisher, Bungei Shunju Shinsha, reflects the period. The price was 700 yen, which was quite expensive at the time.
Condition: The main body has no noticeable folds or tears, but the pages show signs of yellowing. The box has yellowing and stains on the spine. Please be aware of this.
